Wicked Wind!

I was in our travel trailer earlier and the wind makes it feel as if I was on the high sea in a boat. WOW! I’ve been getting our trailer ready for our first camping trip of the season/year – but that won’t be until the end of May. We’re looking forward to getting away and I’ve also been looking for a neat campground to stay at on our trip back to Ontario.

Yesterday, I made cabbage rolls – but I ended up with more cabbage than filling, so this morning I whipped up more meat to fill the rest of the leaves. By the way, the rolls yesterday were excellent. I make a pretty great tasting golumpki (sp??) – not too sure on that spelling.

Can’t wait to try this batch.

Inside of our trailer – bed is made up. All we have to do is put in our clothes and buy food once in Massachusetts.

Poked my head into the shed to get reacquainted with the motorcycle.

Although we have sun now and a whole lot of wind, earlier the sky was dark.

Sunday was a Beautiful Day (well almost all of it)!

We went to Home Hardware and bought a new door. Then we worked together - I read the directions and Bruce did the installation.

Cookout for Ryan’s 18th Birthday!

On Saturday, weather was terrific and we had a great time at Ryan’s 18th birthday cookout.

Cooking sap for maple syrup. Looks like a lot of work, but if one enjoys the product it's worth the effort.

Back Home . . .

I know I’ve said this before, but it’s always good to get back home – sleep in your own bed, take a shower in your own bathroom and know you’ll have enough pressure and hot water to get the job done!

Trip back home was uneventful, but when we got to the border, it seemed all the snowbirds were heading north, towing their RVs.

I did take more pictures after Gloucester and our flat tire – but I’ll pick out a few more to share.

At the Granby Motel, we woke up to some snow!

Dressel’s Service Station in Granby – it’s been there for years, ever since I can remember.

Heading to my sister’s to pick her up and take her to her doctor appointment and out for lunch.

On April 2, we headed home – crossing out of Massachusetts into New York.

At the border – wow, luckily we picked the right lane – it moved swiftly!

While we were gone, Sherry rolled her truck. It happened the same day as Bruce had his flat tire – a bad day for the McLeod Clan.

Winding Down!

It's been a busy week. Tomorrow morning, we pack up the truck and head for the Mass Pike. We should be home around three. Once organized, I'll upload more pictures. I don't think we really took that many, but I'll pick out a few.
