At this very moment, we sitting in our trailer at a campground just north of Rome, NY. A huge storm has been predicted to hit this area by seven. Rain is starting to fall and the trees are bent from the wind. We don’t have our awning out or chairs, we’re just waiting. But backing up to last Wednesday, we got ‘out of town’ around 5:45a.m. Unfortunately, one of the trailer lights had burned out, so we stopped at a Wal-Mart just after seven in the morning. Didn’t even know stores opened at that time. We finally got to my nephew’s house around 3:30p.m. After setting up the trailer, I called my sister, asked Andy if he wanted to join us for dinner at the Grapevine, and off we went. Jackie joined up for dinner since her family was off and running in different directions. OK – I’ve got pictures.

C5 practicing landings at Westover.
I thought this was an awesome picture!!! You can’t image the noise this plane creates.
You can see the plane way off in the trees getting ready to land.
Bruce doing a little truck maintenance.
My sister’s great granddaughter.
The boys hanging out.
The parrot we bought at the Christmas Tree Shop. It lit up for one night, after that – the battery was dead.
A family portrait. The lady in the back on the right is my cousin, Eva. Her hubby is standing next to her. In the front, my nephew, Andy and my sister.
Andy and Bruce’s cookout. More food that we could possibly eat. Good food, good friends.
Yankee Candle is a fun place to browse through. So much stuff. No, we didn’t buy anything. By the time we did this walk through, the truck was full – couldn’t fit any more into it.
See those little faces next to Bruce. I wanted one, but didn’t buy it. Kind of regret it now.
Historic Deerfield.
I have more pictures. If I find something that I’ve missed, I’ll make sure to post it.
