Isn’t It Beautiful?

With two people working on the lights and ornaments, we were done in just over an hour. 

Today We’re Putting Up Our Tree!

But before I post pictures of that, I want to catch up on what went on over the past week or so.

Finally our gas stove in the computer room is up and running.  What a difference – now my mouse hand doesn’t get cold.  I had been using a little electric heater to keep warm.  I’m sure that sent the hydro meter spinning.  Sorry Bruce, but thank you for the new stove!!!!

Thanksgiving Day came and went.  Instead of a turkey, we had a baked ham.  Really good.  For dessert, I made a cheesecake/squash pie.  I copied the recipe from Pinterest.  It’s definitely a keeper – I’ll probably make it again for the Christmas holiday.

He is almost half way to his destination!

Final Trip for Rob’s Moving!

Yes, this morning bright and early, he was up, showered, ate, and hit the road.  With an approaching snow storm across the prairies, it’s going to be a difficult trip. 

A few things left to pack – hooking up at Jeff’s house.

A quick breakfast – toast and peanut butter.

A sad dad! 

Only seven in the morning, Rob did good!

A quick spin around the truck and trailer.  Looks like everything is good to go!

Great Canadian Hunter is Home!

No deer for him, but he did take a few pictures.  Also in these pictures, his grandson rolled his car – end to end.  Scary!!!  Thank goodness he wasn’t hurt.
