Later in July, a close friend of Bruce passed away – we made a hasty trip to Owen Sound & Sauble Beach.
Into August, we had a couple of record breaking zucchinis – one weighed 10 pounds. So we made chocolate zucchini bread and regular zucchini bread! YUM! Also hit the road for a short bike ride.
Next, we are into September and a trip to Massachusetts to visit my sister and a stop on the way home in Oswego, NY, where we drove around the area, toured Fort Ontario and tried to take some pictures of the nuclear plant. However, since the last time we were there (maybe 13 years ago or more) it is now closed to the public.
