It’s been several years since we built our little shed and over those years I’ve thought how cute it would be with shutters. Well, they finally were made and put on. The little shed was a do-over – when we moved into the house, it needed a lot of work – thus it was painted and made to look like the other one. Aren’t they cute?

Mystery Solved!
That is about the long, lost train in town. We found it sitting on the tracks. So sad to see it go.
Another day, we heard a lot a noise coming from the area where the cars are parked, of course we had to investigate that too. Looks like the workmen are doing their job.
I also caught Bruce working on the bike – he’s ordered some new parts for it. Hopefully, these will cure the skip that we experienced last week.
Our sunflowers are reaching for the sky – how big they are now! I mentioned to Bruce that next year I want to plant Morning Glories.

I’ve Fallen Behind!
Why, first of all my hotmail account acted up – sending a Dell ad to some of my email contacts. I noticed what was going on when a few were sent back as ‘undeliverable.’ A friend advised me that my account possibly had been hacked – I went into the website, deleted the online address book and changed my password. The next day I was told that the account had been blocked and I should request a special code to open it. I did this, but later learned thousands of accounts had been broken into and it would take weeks to get this code. With another email address ready to use, I changed several accounts – ones that I use on a regular basis. So now I wait!
We also started out in search of a long, lost train. The trains going through down were stopped years ago – now the tracks are in disrepair and reportedly will be taken up. We heard the train whistle one morning and decided to ‘track’ it down. Out on the bike, the bike started to sputter, so we quickly turned around and headed for home.
During the week, we grilled some kabobs – a new way. When we were in Mass in May, we bought this gadget – you string them on a wire.
As we were grilling our kabobs, the sky darken and we had a quick storm pass through.
On Thursday, we drove into Ottawa to buy a part for the bike, however the Harley shop didn’t have what we needed. What did we do next – headed to East Side Mario’s.
After that fattening meal – a Carmel Toffee Blizzard at DQ.

Great Weather, Great Ride . . .
Through the Ottawa Valley! This included a brief stop along the Ottawa River and another to chow down on some fries. Can’t get any better than that.
Buffalo herd . . .
After a long ride, what do you need? BEER!!
