Just after I opened a can of Italian wedding soup for lunch, Bruce came into the kitchen and asked if I wanted to go out for lunch. Of course! We got ready to jump into the truck, however the truck wouldn't start in spite of the fact that Bruce put in a new battery about three weeks ago. A rescue truck from CAA came an hour later - that's when we changed our lunch plans to an early dinner. We drove to the next town and stopped at Eastside Mario's - one of our favorites places to eat. But our luck didn't stop there - we ordered pasta with sausage and peppers - the waitress came with penne and blush sauce. Huh? We informed her of her mistake and she quickly came back with the right meals. Yum!
On the way back home, we took the river road - saw a bunch of fishing shacks on the Ottawa River and a train going 'somewhere.'
I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. I love New Engand and make sure we vacation there at least twice a year. I have lived in Ontario, Canada since 1992. It pretty much is similar to New England, but not as hilly - at least in the area we live in.
