Smoky didn't know whether he wanted out or if it was better to stay inside where it was warm and dry.
After our morning rituals, we gathered our equipment - clean sponges and two buckets of water.
Then headed outside to mix the grout - we used the whole bag. Of course, we had tons of it leftover.
We thought this was going to be easy - at least that is what was presented on all the videos we watched - not so!!! Oh what a mess - we had grout all over the kitchen. Our first mix was too dry, so we added another cup of water. It was much better, but still difficult to spread on the tiles. Bruce ended up using his hands.

For a couple of amateur tilers, I think we did pretty good. Although I don't think we'd hire ourselves out for any more projects.
Either this was just wiped with a damp sponge or the flash has made a difference in the color. After the stone enhancer is applied, I'm thinking this will be the actual color. So stay tuned, that will be in a few more days.
