Happy Mother's Day!

Back to the start of our vacation, our first stop was in Gettysburg. We had stayed at the Colton Motel way back in 2003 when we were on a motorcycle trip - it's close to restaurants, plus you could sit outside and watch the world go by. Although I read that some of the rooms are haunted, we didn't even catch a glimpse of any paranormal activity. And as far as sitting outside, it was raining when we got there.

As we wandered around a few back streets, we again came upon the Headquarters of General Meade during the Battle of Gettysburg.
Since we had taken a picture of General Meade's Headquarters, I had to have a picture of General Lee's.

Bruce took this picture of the driveway/sign of the motel.

On to Colonial Williamsburg - entrance to the Governor's Palace.
