Back to the campground in New York State . . .

Bruce spotted this woodpecker as he was grilling our steaks. We both got out our cameras and tried our best to get a picture.

Also on a ride around Plattsburgh, we found a few interesting spots.

Also found a statue of Champlain -

Upper New York State is noted for it's 'red hots.' Of course we had to try them. Gus' Restaurant is supposed to have the best in the area.

Headed back to the campground, I spotted this old, twisted tree next to a cemetery. Spooky!

And on the way home, there is an area along the St. Lawrence River that has hundreds of these windmills.
