Yes, the weekend was hot – at one point our outside thermometer read 103.6F. That’s what it should be in the southern states, not here! Anyway, we survived.
Today is much cooler – but it’s been a quiet week so far. We did go for a short bike ride over the weekend, but other than that – we haven’t been on the bike since our June bike ride.
I’d love to have a destination for next week – either with the bike or tow the trailer somewhere. Maybe Kingston, Ontario. Although we’ve been there many times before, there’s always something to do.
I also read that lobsters are plentiful this year – maybe a trip to Maine is in order after our Labor Day vacation in Granby. I think I hear Boothbay Harbor calling my name.
