There's a New Gunslinger in Town?

This morning, I let Smoky out at five! That's a usual time and the time he starts whining to go outside. At eight, when I went to let him in (after putting down tuna and kitty treats), I opened the back door. He just laid there and looked at me. He usually is anxious to get in and chats continually. This time - nothing. I stepped outside, picked him up, then set him on the kitchen floor - I could see tufts of hair on his usually well groomed fur. He ignored the dishes I had set out for him and headed upstairs to the front bedroom. He couldn't even jump up - so I lifted him onto the bed. Poor guy! That's where he is now - sleeping in his 'safe' place. But, is he the winner or the loser?

No more going out when it is still dark - he'll have to wait until the sun shines, even if I have to lock him out of the bedroom so I won't hear his meowing to go out.

Talk about invading one's privacy!
