Yesterday was a Very Hot Day!!!!!

But in spite of that, we had fun. By the time I put all my decorations on the trailer, my face was on fire. For awhile we sat and watched trailer after trailer fill up the field before us. We'll get the total count of just how many after the festival is over. A cookout was held for the volunteers - yummy potato and macaroni salads, hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken burgers. Someone had made butter tarts which were excellent. After eating, we walked around to the front of the stage and watch some of the local talent perform. There were a couple of young teens featured - one played the guitar, another the banjo. They were excellent. After about an hour, we went back to our trailer and had a huge bonfire. It turned out to be a great day! Today is supposed to be hot, maybe just a tad hotter than yesterday.

Jeff didn't realize I was taking a video - so that's him walking through the picture! Since I have music on my blog, if you want to hear the banjo player, you'll have to pause or stop the main music.

I'll post more pictures tomorrow.
