Well, yesterday our outdoor thermometer was up to 104F degrees - in the shade. Today, I think it is going to be just as hot. With our camping adventure looming around the corner, I've got my fingers crossed that it will start to cool by Thursday! Can you imagine how hot it could be in an open field?
Backing up a few days, when we got home from Sauble, I took my little stool and mirror and looked into the robin nest. Yep, one little eye opened to stare back at me through my mirror. Quite happy about that, I figured it would be a few more days for it to mature and fly away. About Friday, I looked again - no bird. No body laying on the ground, so I'm sure the little bird flew, flew away to a happy life.
