Last Thursday, we towed the trailer to the festival grounds in another day of high heat. There were already many trailers, motor homes and campers there – seems a lot of them had been there all week. I thought to myself, “How did they survive in those previous hot days we had?” We found our spot and proceeded to set up our trailer. Bruce cranked down the lifts, did the hose and electric cord; I put out the chairs, rug, storage boxes. By this time we both were ready to pass out. I turned on the A/C and it quickly threw a breaker at Jeff’s house. We went through that about three times, each time Bruce had to walk to the house to reset it. Finally we found what worked – we had the A/C set on low and it slowly lowered the inside trailer temperature. What a relief! Later in the afternoon, Jeff got home from work and early evening, Rob arrived. To sum it up, even though the next three days were hot – it was a fun weekend and we’re planning our next festival adventure in 2011.
