Saturday . . .

Still cool, but a beautiful day. We started out early, picked my sister up around 9:30 and headed to the Roadside Cafe in Belchertown. Jackie arrived soon after we did. The food was great! I ordered a banana pancake, but was only able to eat half of it. I don’t know how many times I drove by this place, never giving it a second thought. As a matter of fact, I always thought it was out of business. If looking for a breakfast place, I totally would recommend it.

After breakfast, we decided to track Wally down. I had called him several times over the past few days, but hadn’t been able to reach him. At his apartment complex, his truck was parked outside – so I would to his door and rang the bell. I could hear him inside so knew he was awake. Grumbling as he opened the door, he was glad to see me. I waved at Bruce and my sister to come on in. I took out the old Dell laptop and placed it on the table. I thought I’d possibly be able to hook up to someone’s WI-FI in order to show Wally how it worked, but that didn’t happen. He called Comcast and will get his internet router, etc., installed on Tuesday. I’ll go back to give him another lesson after that.

We left Wally’s and stopped by to visit with Andy. He’s getting over a bad cold. I’m hoping he will join us for dinner once we get back from Maine.

We headed back to the motel – I wanted to show my sister our room. She had never been to the Granby Motel. She watched a little TV, I think she also had a little snooze.

At five, we swung by Rita & Charlie’s place then drove to 99 Restaurant. The food was good, service excellent, company – priceless.

We dropped my sister off around 7:30. I think we wore her out.
