We got up early in order to catch the first tour bus which was stop #9 on their route. We had to walk a couple of blocks from our hotel to get to the stop - thank goodness the weather cooperated. Usually our vacations are either cold, raining or both.
Bruce checking the tour map - trying to decide what stops we want to check out. We were told to first ride the bus for the entire route, then ride again - getting off on those stops we wanted to check out. At the end of our few days, we had rode that bus four times around. Really got to know the city.

This is a monument across from the new Massachusetts State House. It is in honor of
54th Massachusetts Infantry -

Bruce in front of the Massachusetts State House.

The Granery Cemetery.

Samuel Adams' grave site.

It looked like these were tombs along the wall.

Ben Franklin's monument.

Another view of the old cemetery.

Paul Revere's grave site.

John Hancock's monument.

Faneuil Hall Market Place

Quincy Market.

Another view.

Old State House.

Looking out from the wharf.

Chart House - we didn't stop to eat here.

USS Constitution.

Bruce checking out the ship.

Inside - gun buckets..

Me!

Outside Old Ironsides.

From Old Ironsides, you could see Bunker Hill, but we didn't walk to it. Years ago on a school field trip, I climbed all those stairs. Bruce didn't want to give it a try.

We decided to go back to the Prudential Center - I had seen a seafood restaurant that looked inviting. Bruce had beef and shrimp.

I had lobster! YUM.

And you can't visit Boston without sampling their Boston Cream Pie. What a treat.

Later in the day walking back to our hotel.
