Our first day in Boston was March 1. Since we are always early in whatever we do, we thought we'd visit the JFK Library, before looking for our hotel. With GPS on the dash, we found the library without getting lost in the maze of highways and Boston traffic. I really don't know what I expected, but I was surprised at how modern the structure is. Just plain concrete.

After the library, we plugged in the hotel's address and again were hoping we wouldn't get lost. But with the GPS, how wrong can you get? I think we might have gone around in circles a few times, taking a turn when we shouldn't have.

At the motel, there is a parking garage underneath. Height of the door is six feet. We started down the ramp and quickly saw that we weren't going to clear the door. Bruce backed up and parked off to the side of the ramp. Inside the hotel, the clerk was extremely helpful - totally enjoying his job. He said we could use the delivery door to get into the garage. Even with the delivery door, Bruce had to jockey the truck to drive in.
For dinner, we found the Cheesecake Factory which was located in the Prudential Center, about a block from our hotel.
Me with shrimp/scallops Alfredo.
Bobby Kennedy's desk.
