Our hotel was one block from Bourbon Street, so walking to see the sights was easy to do.

A Walk in the Cemetery - St. Louis #1


















After walking around cemetery #1, we were heading to #2 when we stopped to chat with a couple of women sitting on their front steps. They asked where we were going and when we told them, they said that we shouldn't go there - it was too dangerous. She also added that since they lived in the neighborhood, they knew what they were talking about. We thanked them, turned around and headed back to our hotel. Maybe another time and if we're on a tour with a bunch of people, we'll get to see #2.
