We found a parking lot close to the Alamo and walked over. Bruce's umbrella was blown inside out - here he is trying to put it back together.
Instead of finding a place to stay in San Antonio, we decided to keep driving after visiting the Alamo. Columbus was in between San Antonio and Houston - seemed logical to stay there - get a good start on the next day's travels.
We found a steakhouse close to the motel where we were staying.
The next day would bring another obstacle!
