Our Full Day in Asheville . . .

Over the years we’ve heard about The Biltmore and how awesome it is.  This was the reason for our heading to the city.  We loved our little cabin called Snuggle Inn – the best part was sitting on the front porch in those comfortable rocking chairs.  I forgot to put a link, so here it is - Log Cabin Motor Court.  If you ever in the area – stop there for the night, you will love it.

We had had great sunny weather since leaving Canada, but today it all changed.

Inside the house, on the tour – you cannot take pictures.  Cost of the tour is a bit much, but we did it – even paid the extra $10 for the audio gadget that tells you where to go and explains each room.  The lower floors of the mansion were hot and humid – by that time I was ready to pass everyone just to get out of the place.  After our tour, we headed to the creamery and bought root beer floats – so good.

The next day we headed to Pittsburgh with an overnight stop in West Virginia.
