We checked the internet and decided on the Pittsburgh Tour Company! It featured a double-decker bus. And as predicted, it rained in the morning but had stopped by the time we arrived to book our tour. We headed to the top deck and off we went. We learned many interesting facts about Pittsburgh from the tour guide and decided to limit our 'hop on, hop off experience' and get off the bus at Wholey’s Fish Market and the Strip District.
I already had my paddle boat ride in Nashville -
You can see the trams going to the top of Mt. Washington and back.
Bruce ready for his tour – he sits on one side, I sit on the other.

Just some of the sights we saw . . .
Look at those dark clouds.

That’s me – do I look cold?
The tour guide told us about Pittsburgh’s famous sandwich. Of course we had to have those for lunch. Bruce’s Iron City Beer and my sandwich at Primanti Bros.
A walk through Wholey’s Fish Market.
Enjoying a smoothie while waiting for the bus. As we were waiting the sky opened up and it poured. We found refuge under an awning close to the bus stop.
Another stop at the Harley shop for a t-shirt.
We don’t have any idea what this little house is doing on a pole.
Because of the nasty weather, we decided to drive the 571 miles home instead of stopping for an overnighter in Syracuse.
New York States Vineyards.
Nasty weather . . .
Bridge to Canada -
That ends our vacation – we left on a Saturday and arrived back home on a Saturday – two weeks later. Now we have to figure out where to go next!
