Another Rainy Day!

Looks like a do nothing day. No errands to run. But we did have a busy afternoon yesterday - I decided to get out my old Christmas tree and set it up in its new stand. That didn't turn out so well - had to have Bruce help me. Then the task of getting it to stand straight - still working on that one! It has to be moved up against the wall - where it stands now is only temporary! :-)



On Fridays, I try to improve my pizza making skills - this attempt turned out great! Crust for once was perfect - no sticking.



And Smoky continues to rid the neighborhood of other cats - he came home limping, then after having a quick snack - wanted back out. That didn't happen - he was in for the night. I swear sometimes he almost talks to you. Here he is at the back door wailing to go out.



Later in the morning, we went to Home Hardware, but the rest of the day was uneventful. Bruce began watching a marathon of James Bond movies and I started to string the lights on my tree. I need to get more - a set with small blinking white lights and another set to replace the ones that didn't light up - LED lights that go from blue to red. Tomorrow's another day!
