The Day After . . .

No surprise with the outcome of the election. Thank goodness we don't have to watch any more political ads for awhile. However, I'm going to keep my opinion of the outcome to myself.

I read Tommy Devine's blog this morning - he has a lot of neat pictures from his walk around the Pine Point area of Springfield. I copied them and sent them to my friend who lives in Texas - she grew up in Springfield, so I know she will enjoy them.

We went to Canadian Tire to look at fake Christmas trees - so many choices. Self-shaping, pre-lit, 6, 6-1/2 for 7 feet tall - width is another choice. They are putting the trees up tomorrow for their Christmas display - promised myself I'd go back on Friday - I left the store bewildered.

To try out Bruce's new camera, we rode around town - it is a gorgeous day. He always wanted a picture of a train heading toward him on the tracks - didn't think that was a great idea, but he did get one of just the tracks.

Nearby were some dried up weeds - a couple seemed worthy of a picture.
