Stressed!

Last night, we checked out the recorded shows on our less than one year old DVR - recordings looked like thin film strips. We spent an hour pushing buttons and in the end accomplished nothing. We then unplugged it with the hope that the recorder would revert back to it's default settings. We need to check that out sometime today.

It was cold this morning - 15F degrees. We headed out anyway - a few snow flakes falling. First stop, Canadian Tire, then Wal-Mart. Before heading to the Beer Store, we went to Staples to look at desktops - I think I have found my next computer. It looks awesome and can do 'anything.' I'm tired of waiting for my current computer to make up it's mind before performing my requested tasks.

Update! DVR needs to be sent to an Authorized Service Center - DARN! And the cookware that I bought at Wal-Mart has a broken handle - we have to return that purchase on Monday.
