Quick Trip to the Store -

I gave up on my quest for a new Christmas tree - at least for now. I bought a new stand for my old tree - it should be able to stand straight and tall now. Also bought some new lights and bulbs. Can't wait to get started putting it up. But I'll wait until just before or after Thanksgiving.

When we got home, I gave my sister a call. Fred left for his Maine hunting trip this morning and she is going out for Chinese food with her daughter, Jackie and son, Andy. Charlie also stopped by with a sandwich for lunch. Sounds like she'll be well taken care of while Fred is gone.

Fred towed a 30 foot trailer to Maine a few weeks ago and is parked on a seasonal site in some remote campground. When we were in Massachusetts, I took some pictures of the inside - it's a typical hunting trailer and sleeps six.
