Trip to the Big City

We headed into Ottawa in the afternoon to drop Rob off at the airport.

This is Scotiabank Place - home of the Ottawa Senators. We've never been inside since we aren't hockey fans. It not only used for hockey - concerts are also performed there.

A distant view of Ottawa - traffic is starting to build, even though it's mid afternoon. There aren't any really tall buildings in Ottawa - it doesn't have the skyline that Toronto does.

I wasn't going to take a picture of this sign, but Bruce and Rob insisted.

We decided to go to Montana's for an early dinner - can you see the car on display? Everywhere you look, there is something unusual to see - I took more pictures, but they were too dark.

Unique lights - they look quite similar to those hanging at the Muddy Moose in North Conway, NH. I wonder how many sets of antlers it takes to make one light.

Bruce's heart stopping dinner - poutine (fries with gravy and cheese). All meals were very tasty.

I wanted Bruce to take this picture of the talking moose and deer - he wouldn't, so I had to get out of the booth and snap the picture myself! Love those guys.

It had to be a full moon - it was so large, you could almost reach up and grab it.

Traffic to the airport was horrendous!

A long hug good-bye . . .

Rob picked up his bags, then disappeared into the airport.
